I should be beaten really bad with a huge bat…

...for leaving the blog for so long. First of all my apologies to you all, specially to AdaHsu, I left him with a few unanswered questions, my sincere apologies for that!

But what did happen? Well, back in April besides work I was doing some continuous snip it development - the Access Control got ready back there - but after 2 weeks sleeping about for 2 hours per day I felt like taking a vacation.

I took a vacation and left anything tech related behind - well almost everything I took my digital camera and cellphone with me - due to those vacations the blog stopped. But my vacations only took five days, I should be blogging in the beginning of May or luckily in the end of April, although inertia can be a problem.
The thought of "I'm gonna do it tomorrow" took over me and I kept postponing a new post! Gladly I finally want to put a stop on it and get back to blogging.

So what have I been up to lately? Well, at work I've been working hard in the research portal, right now we are creating an infrastructure for an intranet for research units, it's fun and interesting...yet the daily basis dogma is sort of this work is for yesterday.

Besides work - life isn't only work, right? - I've being doing a few things but snip it is currently one of them - shame on me I know - but since work is being a bit extreme when I get home I wanna do something else, I guess everyone knows the feeling. Since the summer is coming I've been enjoying the sun and I've also discovered a new hobby, geocaching. But before talking about geocaching, let's do the situation about snip it.

Snip it development is currently stopped, I've scheduled to get back to work on it in the beginning of July. Currently a configurable access control system per snip is implemented and I'm testing it. The results are good!
The main goal is to have a nice version by the end of August and I'm sure I can do that! smiley

paulo-geocaching Now a small reference about geocaching, to anyone who doesn't know what it is, imagine a treasure hunt game - the treasure is called a cache - but with an high tech gadget, a GPS!
I'm getting really addicted to it and showing it to everyone - I think that can be noticed when I write about it on the blog laugh - , from urban caches to caches in the woods I'm loving every single bit of the concept!
The main idea is simple, anyone can join for free to geocaching on the website. After that two things can be done, search for caches or create new caches. I myself haven't created one...just searched for caches and I must say it's great! You can see me in action in the photo on the right, writing a cache's log book - sort of a guest book of the cache. Anyone interested should visit >>geocaching website.

I've also noticed that even thought I didn't posted anything in May it has been the month with many new visitors… Those are good news, I just hope the old visitors haven't abandon me due to the lack of activity, once again sorry for that.
This blog will currently go back to the regular activity. Thank you for reading!
